I decided to be one of those people who label the day of the event anticipated as "Day Zero," which makes today "day 1" in the countdown... though I'll admit that doesn't feel entirely accurate. But whatever. LOL Point is: 24 hours till Coart is here! 23 actually.

After a busy weekend that involved many houseguests, random chillage, and a trip to Atlanta, today hasn't really been much of a respite. But it's been fun. This morning I did the 20 minute segments for VBS about foreign missions. Now, if you know me, you know that I'm not that good with lil kids. It's just a fact. Been there, tried it (a lot), got the "epic fail" button on numerous occasions. LOL Apparently my gifts work only with post-pubescent individuals.
But it's harder to find a more hilarious group than very little kids. They say exactly what they're thinking, with absolutely NO filter. I know parents would be mortified to know some of what comes out of their kids' mouths in public settings.

It's one of the reasons I tell parents at school that I won't believe everything their kid says about them if they (the parents) agree not to take at face value whatever their kid says about me. Heh.
Anyway, little kids are always good for a laugh, even if they frighten me.
During the Kindergarten/1st grade session:Me: "Do any of you have family members who are missionaries or who live in another country?"
After a scattering of responses,
Boy: "Yes!! My mom's brother lives in Georgia!"
Me: "Oh, really? Do you mean Georgia the country or Georgia the state?"
Boy: "The state."
Me: "Oooohhhhh.....Yeah, I think Georgia is definitely a different country...."
Driving to Charlotte tomorrow to pick up Coart & have dinner w/ friends up there. It's gonna be epic! *big grin*

So if Georgia the state is really a different country, does that mean you're involved in a cross-cultural, international marriage???
Enjoy your visit with Cos & Rae tomorrow!!!
@Savage1992 - Coart has always said this is a marriage of two foreigners.
